Foxy Lady...

January payday has come & gone, but I am very pleased to report I have been well behaved with my spends (well, as much as I could have been!) So today I decided to treat myself to a couple of gorgeous Wildfox sweatshirts from the stylish online boutique www.lovepoppy.com which is owned by a (very clever girl) and good friend of mine!

LovePoppy stocks a variety of underground yet still very much sought after brands such as Agua Bendita, Junk Food & Vanita Rosa...I love the site & the fact it is so reminiscent of Pop's personality! So check it out! Even as I type this blog, it is starting to snow AGAIN in Cheshire! Now I'm even more excited for my new sweatshirts to arrive, to keep me warm & cosy! xxx

My Week in Outfits...

The dress code for the ROX Launch Party was 'Smart/Casual' but I wanted to feel a little bit more glam, especially next to all the beautiful jewellery! So I wore...
Playsuit - River Island
Jewellery - After Dark by ChloBo
Envelope Clutch - Parfois
Heeled Suede Boots - Kurt Geiger
---------
Whereas the dress code for the Chlobo & Mococo Wish Collection Launch Lunch (try saying that 10 times!!!) called for more of a girly, yet still appropriate daytime outfit! So I wore...
Dress - Topshop
Quilted Bag - Chanel
Lipstick - Ruby Woo by MAC
Black Croc Heels - Topshop
Jewellery - ChloBo Iconics

Diamonds & Thrills...

Made the lengthy trip up to the Scottish capital last week with the lovely Chloe, Lottie & Sophie to attend the opening of ROX Jewellery's new store...(any excuse for a road-trip hey girls?!) And it was well worth the trip, we had THE most marvellous time! From the moment we arrived, we knew it was going to be a very special event. The shop was super busy all day prior to the event so Lottie (the Chlobo retail support & merchandising manager) and I popped in to make sure all the display was looking good, but we needn't have bothered because it looked great!
We were staying at an amazing serviced ApartHotel called 'The Chester Residence' which was fantastic! The staff were so helpful, and our apartment was gorgeous! Really spacious & lovely inside...which is always a bonus on a 'work trip' haha!
We had dinner at a lovely family owned Italian restaurant just up the street before braving the rain to finally make it to ROX (with our hairstyles still intact of course!)...and WOW is all we could say! It was absolutely heaving full of guests who obviously like us wanted to see the new Edinburgh store, which can only be described as phenomenal. We drank champers & bespoke cocktails whilst we chatted to the ROX team & other guests before heading upstairs to the Assembly Rooms to enjoy an exclusive performance from Labrinth! He was beyond amazing live, and we made sure we were on the front row!

Thank you so much to the ROX team for inviting us! Can't wait to see you soon!

The Annual Rat Race...

Also Known as...The X Factor!!

No one can deny that as much as we love to hate it, we also hate to love it! Watching normal people jump through hoops, have their teeth whitened & sing terribly themed songs is ridiculously addictive. My favourite moment of this series so far has to be when Rylan Clarke came on stage and (jokingly) began to sing 'Back For Good' by Take That - comedy gold! Barlow's face was an absolute picture! Really enjoying the permanent addition of Nicole Scherzinger to the judging panel, she brings a fresh enthusiasm (granted with a few too many Americanisms) that can only be described as a real personality...something that Tulisa would know nothing about!!!  As for this year's "joke contestant" the one that everybody votes for to keep in the competition to piss off the judges...well from what I can see the only real joke on the X Factor is Louis Walsh. (Deadlock, again? Really Louis?!?!!)

My Predictions...
1st Place - Jahmene (not because I think he's the most worthy winner, but just because he'd definitely cry the most when they announced his name. He has become known to my friends & I as 'Justin Feeber' which I find absolutely hilarious, copyright to Tom Ogden for coming up with that name, as Jahmene is stupidly feeble!)
2nd Place - Ella Henderson (because she is genuinely a phenomenal performner & would be a gracious loser. Plus if she manages to follow in the trends of JLS & 1D she could potentially have a better career than the winner anyway)
3rd Place - Rylan (just because it actually could happen!)

My Verdict...
#TeamElla
(she might be boring, but shes damn good)

Today I'm Listening To...

Live While We're Young - One Direction
Yes it's incredibly cheesy, yes they're incredibly mainstream but you've got to hand it to the boys...they've got swagger coming out of their ears!

(Let the) Skyfall - Adele
Absolutely LOVE this new one by Adele, it is the epitome of a Bond song! I have always adored both the 007 movies & Adele, so was pretty much on the verge of wetting myself with excitement when I found out she had been persuaded to record the new 2012 film theme tune. I just hope it doesn't become overplayed & over-used...so chill out Radio 1!!
