'What Does One Wear To a Gig?'

I will confess I can be a toffee-nosed bitch at the best & worst of times...and usually live music comes hand in hand with lairy indiviuals, dirty venues and excessive noise (I've been told that's the point?!) But I ventured down to the Marlbororough Arms' 'Music Orgy' to listen to a band that some of my friend's play in...and...the toffee-nosed bitch inside me was proven wrong!  I saw & heard some great music, particularly from a local band called Shy and The Fight - they literally blew me away! Loved the addition of the violin (or maybe it was a fiddle? Definitely wasn't a Viola). They had a real folky sound...bought their orange single and everything! The main purpose of me going to the gig was actually to support The Queen's Minions...I can safely predict now that they're gonna be the Take That of Chester!! (Just not the same music...and none of them look like Take That...at all) but they were awesome.

So it was really loud, I was wearing flats shoes, there was no food...but I did  have a fucking amazing night! When's the next gig guys?
